Minister in the Christian Church, Biblical scholar and educator. Leander E. Keck was born near Washburn, North Dakota on 3 March 1928. He attended Linfield College (B.A., 1949); Andover Newton Theological School (B.D., 1953) and Yale University (Ph. D., 1957). From 1957-1959 he was an instructor in Bible History at Wellsley College.
